The Uruguayan doesn’t just talk about how his job is to help Neymar and Messi, he also talks about why he moved to his ‘dream’ club.
Suarez signed for the Catalans last summer from Liverpool amidst his biting drama, he experienced difficulties when he first started, but the Barcelona forward has eased into his role with Messi and Neymar.
The trio have cemented their chemistry up front and put forward an attacking force that is enviable.
He says though that everybody’s role is to help Neymar and Messi be at their best and play good football.
“Life at Barcelona is about adapting to the way Leo and Neymar play and the moves they make, and trying to make things easier for them,” Suarez told Uefa.com.
“They are incredible players, but you work to support the team regardless of who is playing that day. Everybody feels comfortable in their role of helping Messi and Neymar play their best game.
“There are situations where we have maybe two or three players in attack to distract the defence.”
He also said that he made the move to Barcelona, which he has termed his dream club, because he felt he wouldn’t have won a champions league at Anfield.

“I’ve always wanted to play at Barcelona,” the Uruguayan continued. “It was a dream come true. Everything is fine here now.
“In the first few months you have to get to know your new team-mates, but I am very happy with everything here now.
“Of course the allure of winning the Champions League was part of the reason I joined Barca. They are always a candidate to win it.
“That’s a plus here, as the clubs I’ve played for before didn’t really have the chance to win big European trophies – maybe a domestic league or cup at best.
“Playing in a team like this, where all the players want to win every match and everything, that is a sign that it’s all about silverware – whether it’s the Champions League, La Liga or whichever trophy’s available.
“We have a chance of making the Champions League final this season.”
Not long ago, he was Suarez the vampire and now he’s, well, still that.
