Hanging around a $2.45 million apartment is what my friends and I
call “slumming it” but some of you minions may appreciate a peek inside
model Gigi Hadid’s “fancy” and “nice” flat in NYC…
Now you know my girl-crush on G, but I must say, I’m a little whateverish about her apartment. No word on where she’s thinking of relocating, but clearly she needs more room for her couture and Joe Jonas’ ego.
The apartment is on Bowery in SoHo, which sounds fancy but as a staunch Upper East Sider, I assure you the neighborhood is horrificly hipster. But, the apartment gets a lot of light and there’s (duh) a 24-hour doorman so there’s there’s that.
The catwalker’s pad is technically owned by a trust in the name of her mom, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, and was purchased for $1.92 million just a few years ago.
The listing agent is also a reality star: Million Dollar Listing’s Fredrik Eklund! The two bedroom apartment is pretty generic for such a glam girl, but it does have a few fanciful touches like Carrera marble in the kitchen, a deep soak tub, and the one must-have for any It Girl: a walk-in closet.
I also don’t hate the rooftop situation. I can’t even imagine living someplace with zero outdoor space, can you? Ugh. I can totes picture Taylor Swift and co. hanging here.
Darlings, what’s your take on Gigi’s home base? If you had this much cash to spend on your bachelorette pad, would you go for a high rise like G or would you opt for a country estate, or maybe a houseboat floating around the Mediterranean?
