Justin Bieber found guilty of assault from 2014 incident

Justin Bieber was found guilty on Thursday of assault and careless driving. The charges stemmed from an incident that happened in August 2014 in which Bieber was arrested after his ATV collided with a minivan that belonged to a Paparazzi who was taking pictures of him and his then girlfriend -Selena Gomez near Stratford in Ontario, Canada.

Bieber appeared in a Canadian court via Skype. The singer was in the office of his lawyer, Howard Weitzman, when he pled guilty to simple assault and careless driving.

The judge warned Bieber, "The lesson in all of this is to think before you act in the future."
Bieber was fined $750 in Canadian dollars (about $600 in U.S. dollars) for the careless driving charge. For the assault charge, he received an absolute discharge. He didn't get any jail time or probation just the fine
