Earlier, an intense robbery operation took place on Admiralty Way, Lekki
Phase One. According to eyewitnesses, the robbers attacked the FCMB,
entering the area through a boat on the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge.
The men came in dressed in military uniform and used intense fire power to force their way. At least six people died, three of them policemen. An eyewitness says a girl who died was a street hawker and 'the road was soaked with her blood.'
