Twenty seven year old Lacey Spears was found guilty of second degree
murder found guilty of second-degree murder after the murder of her
five year old son, Garnett-Paul Spears.
Lacey Spears force fed her son large amounts of salt through a feeding
tube and blogged about his health conditions soliciting sympathy from
her friends, family, and followers.
Video at the hospital shows Spears taking her son into the bathroom with his connector tube attached and later he fell more ill.
As the boy got older, she feared he would tell, so she killed him.
Spears tortured the boy in a heinous crime that is being labeled as
Munchausen-by-proxy, in which the mother seeks attention for an illness
or injury to their child, that they themselves inflicted upon the child.
On April 8th Spears is being sentenced and could face 15 years in
prison.
